Travelling to Mahabalipuram with Trouper was one of the most amazing experience of my travel diaries!
Everything was so perfectly planned and executed that it made the whole trip a wonderful and thrilling memory and that too at a very affordable price. I really enjoyed this trip and thanks a lot Trouper for this amazing experience.
Mahabalipuram, is a beautiful town on a strip of land between the Bay of Bengal and the Great Salt Lake, in the south Indian state of Tamil Nadu.
It’s known for its temples and monuments built by the Pallava dynasty in the 7th and 8th centuries. The seafront Shore Temple comprises 3 ornate granite shrines. Krishna’s Butter Ball is a massive boulder balanced on a small hill near the Ganesha Ratha stone temple. Here are few pics :

2. Five Rathas

After marveling the whole afternoon at such huge sculptures, I had one of the best experiences of my life later in the evening and that is - Surfing.
Trouper had arranged surfing classes for us with the local surfing school. The day one of surfing is all about introduction to your surf boat, learning and practicing the techniques. Once the instructor is happy with your abilities , you are all set to try your first surf in the shallow waters of the sea.
There is whole amazing technique of handling your boat, maintaining balance and then riding it with the dance of the sea. We can learn this within two days with some sincere efforts and once we are good at at, I think very few other things can give such a thrill as I experienced with surfing. Below is snap that needs no captions and expressions to express :)
The evening in Mahabalipuram gets more romantic as the serenity of the cool breeze and the setting sun adds in there magic. The city lights up beautifully in the evening with lot of food and bar restaurants and a local market which blossoms so much that even the foreign tourist can't resist their cravings for shopping and exploring.
This will always be remembered as one of the best times Thanks Trouper :)
